HARVEST SUPPER THANKSGIVING CLOTH
Friends and residents of Allington and Boscombe have been meeting every fortnight over the past few months to create a Thanksgiving Cloth that will be on display at the Harvest Festival being held at the Black Barn on Sunday 13th September at 5pm.
The busy group of sewers lead by Sue Vearncombe said how much they had enjoyed getting together not only to sew but to get to know each other better, chat and laugh together over a cup of tea and the odd slice of cake or two! The group is a mixture of ages, with everyone creating different pieces of work to add to the cloth. The colours and designs are wonderful, creating a beautiful cloth that they hope can be used and shared by villagers for many years to come.
